Moving to a new city let alone a new country can be a big undertaking! I have been in Brussels Belgium now for two and a half weeks- and oh what a move it has been!
First piece of advice when going anywhere out of your comfort zone is to take a deep breath any and every time it starts to overwhelm you. You’ve totally got this! You might just need a second to collect yourself every now and then.
This move mostly so far has really just let me see a different side of what it means to be an immigrant. The biggest thing has been how it feels to be in an area where the language you speak is not the main language. Maneuvering through buying bread and metro tickets and going to the immigration office has all been an adventure.
